Full Job Description

  • Plan co-ordinate and monitor the allocation of Maintenance, Tooling and Weld Techs tasks to the team - ensure deadlines are met and quality of work meets the standards

  • Complies with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines

  • Maintain a good relationship with Production - delivering T1s meetings, attending T2 and occasionally T3

  • Responsibility Perform in depth handovers with the opposite shifts - use escalation matrix for any production issues.

  • Ensure Assist on major breakdowns, when necessary and carry out regular servicing and maintenance work on plant machinery. Ensure quick resolutions for TPM and breakdown works

  • Ensure all Weld issues are dealt with promptly.

  • Plan and allocate resource both in production time and in the off- shift periods for completion of PM and any out of hour improvement issues.

    ONC/HNC or Equivalent with Electronics/ Electrical or Engineering background

  • 3-5 work experience in similar role (Weld/Tooling/ Maintenance)

  • Knowledge of Brose systems - CEP, MM, SAP

  • To communicate effectively at all levels

  • Have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Have the flexibility to adapt to working to multiple shift patterns and willing to learn new skills,

  • Have a positive approach to problem solving and speedy resolutions of all technical issues in the plant.
