Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Hubs Co-ordinator at our driving Mobility site, based at Kingsway, Derby. The successful candidate will join the existing, established team of Occupational Therapists, Driving instructors and Admin. The main purpose of the role is to support patients with transport options once they have lost their licence. The role will require the person to liaise with mobility centres, GPs, hospitals and transport providers. You will need to have strong communication and listening skills. A clean driving licence is a must as some travel been sites is required. All relevant training will be provided. It is strongly recommended that prospective candidates have an informal visit., Co-ordinate the activities of the Transport Hub at Derby DrivAbility Support service users and referrers by utilising the experience and skills of centre staff from various professional backgrounds. Provide the Department for Transport, Driving Mobility and other partnerships agencies with a clear access point to the service. Provide service users and referrers with an identified referral pathway to the service. Foster working links with other Transport Hub Co-ordinator's across the country, providing a harmonised approach, sharing ideas, developments and cross centre knowledge
