We're offering an exciting opportunity to join our developer services team as a Design Administrator. At Thames Water, we serve 16 million customers across London and the Thames Valley, and our developer services team plays a crucial role in supporting regional growth. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic team overseeing thousands of connections every year and providing excellent support to both internal teams and customers.

What you will be doing as a Design Administrator
As a Design Administrator, you'll play a vital role in keeping our processes running smoothly, from auditing jobs to managing customer communication. Working closely with your team, you'll ensure that everything stays on track, providing great service along the way. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Auditing job classifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures.
- Reducing Pend Accounts by investigating existing jobs and updating customer details.
- Processing refunds for new water connection quotes.
- Managing private land notices and updating records accordingly.
- Closing applications for jobs we're unable to progress further.
- Handling payments and communicating with customers regarding payment holds.
- Raising Network Approval requests to move projects forward.

Working hours:
You'll work 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm.

Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to handle changing needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to build effective relationships.
- Attention to detail to ensure all work is accurate and compliant.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
- IT literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and internal systems.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to our processes and policies.
