Design Estimator

Join TCR Irrigation, a renowned company with 14-years of experience in crafting irrigation systems for esteemed UK properties and commercial ventures. Located in Surrey, we cater to clients across London and the home counties, offering comprehensive services from design and installation to ongoing maintenance and repairs. We're seeking an adapt Designer/ Estimator with a focus on the landscape market for both residential and commercial projects. This position, based in our Cheshire office, presents an opportunity for growth, with the aim of transitioning into a Design Manager role within 12 months, overseeing project planning, design execution, and meeting targets. As a Designer/ Estimator, you'll utilise software packages such as AutoCAD, Excel, Word and our in-house business management system to meticulously design and price irrigation systems., 1. Work to the RIBA plan of work stages to produce fully operational, automated irrigation systems. 2. Ensure designs are hydraulically accurate and efficient in their operation 3. Prepare bills of materials (B.O.M) 4. Prepare estimates and quotations 5. Produce irrigation drawings and plans using AutoCAD 6. Prepare contract briefs 7. Source and purchase materials 8. Lease with clients and suppliers 9. Prepare O&M's Extra Duties

• Updating of Web Site Blogs
• Updating of Irrigation Prices when emails come in from various companies
• Update incoming Emails
• Take Phone calls and liaise with Architects and Clients when required
• Other work when required
Targets Ensure all personal tasks are carried out correctly and on time

This role and TCR understand that the successful candidate will ideally have a background in CAD and/ or estimating. We would also request that you are literate and have the ability to produce word documents for quotations and Tender documents for clients.
