Full Job Description

The Learning & Culture (L&C) organization supports the creation, curation, and deployment of end-to-end learning solutions to increase organizational and employee success. The Learning Advisor Senior Lead is a strategic Human Resources professional responsible for identifying the Learning needs of their coverage area and determining the appropriate solution in alignment with the Learning & Culture Menu of Services. The role works in close partnership with key business and HR stakeholders to deliver an integrated strategy. As a member of the Leadership Development Management Team, this role helps shape organizational strategies related to enterprise leadership development. Leading a team of facilitators and a learning designer, this individual will be responsible for delivering outstanding learner experiences through excellence in learning design and program delivery. The individual will oversee planning and execution of a comprehensive design book of work to deliver on business needs and bring innovation and external best practices into the design process. The role is responsible for leading a diverse team of global facilitators responsible for delivering high impact virtual and classroom experiences across Citi. In addition, they will deliver complex resource and capacity planning and scheduling to meet the demands of a diverse, global workforce. What you'll do

  • Leadership Facilitation:
  • + Deliver complex and intensive resource and capacity plans and global schedules. + Lead, coach, and develop a team of skilled facilitators to deliver high-quality learning experiences. + Provide coaching and development opportunities for facilitators through observation, feedback, and performance management. + Ensure global consistency in the quality of facilitation across all leadership development programs, creating engaging and impactful learning experiences. + Explore and implement innovative techniques and methodologies to enhance classroom engagement and learner involvement. + Standardize facilitation approaches across countries while accommodating necessary cultural adaptations. + Develop and implement an adjunct faculty strategy to complement internal facilitation capacity, ensuring external facilitators meet Citi's standards of excellence. + Continuously enhance facilitation processes to ensure they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with best practices in learning and development. + Partner with key stakeholders across Human Resources and Leadership Development to align on program objectives, learner needs, and delivery excellence. + Collaborate with Learning & Development colleagues to build and manage program schedules, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of leadership development initiatives. + Build and execute on annual strategies for leadership development design and facilitation, aligning with broader business priorities and organizational goals.
  • Leadership Design:
  • + Plan and manage the design book of work, aligning the development and delivery of leadership programs with business priorities. + Oversee a diverse group of cross-function design teams (work circles) that bring together design, program managers, facilitators and learner engagement colleagues. + Prioritize design initiatives based on business needs and strategic objectives, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to high-impact projects. + Drive innovation in program design by staying informed about industry trends, external best practices, and cutting-edge learning methodologies. + Leverage external knowledge and research to inform the development of leadership programs, ensuring they are aligned with global best practices and the latest learning technologies. + Oversee and refine design content and learner-centered experiences that address the needs of a diverse, global audience. + Continuously improve the design and facilitation of programs based on feedback, data, and evolving business needs. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the exploration of new tools, methodologies, and technologies to enhance learning experiences. + Evaluate and implement innovative learning solutions that challenge traditional approaches and engage learners in new, dynamic ways. + Utilize data and feedback from learner evaluations, surveys, and program metrics to monitor the effectiveness of both design and facilitation. + Use insights from data to drive continuous improvements in program content and delivery, ensuring measurable impact and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Management and Impact
  • + Collaborate with the broader Leadership Development (LD) team, Learning Implementation Services, Learning Advisors and Human Resources teams. + Provide monthly progress updates to the Head of Learning, summarizing key achievements, challenges, and data-driven insights related to program delivery, design, and facilitator performance. + Maintain regular communication with senior leadership to ensure alignment on program objectives and strategic priorities.

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience managing external vendors or adjunct faculty, ensuring alignment with internal standards and practices.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience
