Design Manager

This year has seen us open our 12th club, with more currently under construction. We're not stopping there, with plans to double in size, and with the ongoing extensive refurbishments of our existing portfolio, we are now looking to appoint a world-class Design Manager who will

be at the forefront of our innovative club designs, responsible for overseeing the development of both new and existing spaces, with a particular focus on the feasibility of new clubs and the refurbishment of existing clubs.

Reporting into a Project Manager, you will manage multiple high-profile projects to continuously explore new and innovative designs that challenge, improve and enhance our clubs, whilst aligning with the Third Space core brand.

As the Design Manager, you'll be working closely with our project team and external partners, ensuring that each project reflects our brand's commitment to excellence and aligns with the evolving needs of our members.

Your role will also involve developing a comprehensive 'Design Guide' to standardise key design elements, while allowing for bespoke touches that reflect the unique identity of each Third Space location.,

• Conduct in-depth feasibility studies for new club developments and major refurbishments, assessing the potential of various sites to align with Third Space's luxury brand standards.


• Create initial spatial layouts and high-level design concepts based on feasibility findings, ensuring that each project is both practical and visionary.


• Develop, maintain, and refine a 'Design Guide' to standardise key elements across all club designs while allowing for bespoke adaptations that reflect the unique identity of each location.


• Work closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure that design concepts are viable and align with budget constraints.


Your role will be pivotal in steering the design process from feasibility to final implementation.

• Oversee and contribute to the refurbishment of existing clubs, ensuring that all design work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


• Continuously explore new and innovative design solutions, identifying and resolving any potential issues that could impact the feasibility and success of each project.
  
  We are looking for an experienced Design Manager with a strong background in architecture or design management, ideally within luxury environments.


You'll have experience leading feasibility assessments, spatial planning, and managing multiple high-end projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp is essential, along with a deep understanding of RIBA stages, building regulations, and practical design implementation.
