Design Manager - Healthcare

We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Manager to work on one of our Healthcare projects in Manchester / Leeds.

We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in design and delivery of large scale Healthcare projects.

What will the role look like?

• Supports our consultant teams to maximise their effectiveness and value optimisation in the provision of effective integrated design solutions that meet our clients our business needs (strategies and budgets).


• Maximises the effectiveness of consultant relationships.


• Reviews design delivery to enhance quality of solutions and efficiency of design, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning and handover of total engineering excellent solutions for our clients.


• Supports our consultants in adopting LOR's design processes, deliver with rigour and quality project management processes and to ensure effective collaboration throughout the supply chain (using appropriate tools for this including, but not limited to, BIM/Digital Engineering).


• Captures business knowledge and capability enabling continuous improvement, innovation and improved capability towards an Engineering Enterprise.
  
  Healthcare experience is essential for this role.


• Architect / consultancy or main contracting background.


• Degree qualified in architecture or engineering.


• Ability to manage all elements of the technical design process for major projects, from bid and pre-construction phase through to project completion.
