Full Job Description

The Design Manager is responsible for providing operational support and guidance to the creative team by translating marketing objectives into creative output. The Design Manager plans and directs the execution of marketing design projects so that they run smoothly, timely and on budget. Ensures all timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded. Builds trust and acts as an advisor for internal and external partners. Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with marketing partners on 360 project briefs: digital, social, collateral, premiums, experiential, video, print, etc.
  • Determining SLAs based on brief details.
  • Assigning projects based on team's bandwidth and skillsets.
  • Managing all projects across complexity tiers (quick turns + 360 campaign).
  • Managing team budgets/forecasting/project scope.
  • QC work prior to routing to ensure that brief details are met

    Impeccable attention to detail and expert data management skills.
  • Ability to figure out how to get things done in absence of clear roadmaps and pivot accordingly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders' inputs, opinions, and decision-making styles.
  • A proactive and problem solving mindset; be able to work autonomously with the capability to prioritize multiple projects with fast turn-around times.
  • Previous background working in a creative role: design/art director/producer, etc.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience j
  • Experience working at/with a financial/asset management company
  • Hands on experience desired in most of these programs: Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Jira, Airtable, Aprimo.

  • The creative team is an agile group of art directors, designers, and picture editors that work on 360-campaigns across all marketing touchpoints for Invesco. We're responsible for how the brand visual identity is expressed across the firm, acting as brand ambassadors / advocates. We're a small cross-regional, collaborative, and hands on team. We also collaborate closely with various other teams across the organization: brand, digital, social, production, multimedia, etc. We're passionate about design + photography and are always looking to evolve and elevate our craft. This role would be primarily working on content across the EMEA region, but sometimes will overlap with the wider creative team (across both EMEA and North America).
