Bring your skills to the mix as a Senior Design Manager, you'll play a vital role in every aspect design management on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. We specialise in all aspects of river and coastal engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy and Cities & Development. We continue to provide industry-leading river and coastal engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. If being a part of a team with a passion for this industry is for you then we would love to talk to you. We currently have opportunities in our Epsom office. Your Purpose:

  • Deliver technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Understand, communicate and manage project risks.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

    Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design and Design & Build.
  • Sound knowledge coastal defences, flood walls and embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access and accessibility, and construction logistics.
  • Familiarity with current UK design standards, guidance and working practices.
  • Proficiency in delivering both traditional engineering and environmentally focused solutions using nature-based strategies.
  • Sound commercial, contractual and programme experience.
