Design & Technology Teacher

We are looking for a Design & Technology Teacher, based in a good school in the Dudley area.

Duties will include:

Being responsible for delivering high quality teaching with the aim of helping students develop a broad base of skills through practical, investigational and theoretical work
To demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and communicate this in an enthusiastic and imaginative way in both practical and theory
To plan, prepare, deliver and review lessons and other activities to ensure the effective progress of assigned students in the agreed specifications
You will set regular and relevant homework, learning and assessment which enable students to take responsibility for their own learning as well as promoting a high standard of behaviour, test and assignments to support and consolidate learning

The successful candidate will possess a Teaching qualification (ECT's are welcome to apply)
Experience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learning
The ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners' attainment
