D&T Technician - Permanent to Start asap
Salary: NJC Scale 3 £23,500 to £23,893 pro rata
Actual paid salary £20,370-£20,711 (pay award pending)
37 hours per week - term time plus 3 inset days
8am-4pm except Fri 8am-3.30pm (30min lunch) (could be negotiable for the right candidate)
We are looking to appoint a Design & Technology Technician to provide efficient and effective support within the department.
Duties include; use of laser cutter, 3D printer and cam1 & 2 machines to assist students' product manufacture. The post holder will also be required to support the delivery of our BTEC construction course, bricklaying and joinery.
Experience of working within the engineering/construction industry or within a workshop/design technology environment is desirable.
