Design Technology Technician

+ Assist teaching staff in preparing materials and resources for DT lessons
+ Maintain, operate, and ensure the safety of DT machinery and tools, such as lathes, drills, and 3D printers
+ Ensure a safe and well-organised workshop environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
+ Provide technical support to staff and students during practical lessons
+ Manage stock levels and order materials when required

We are working with a forward-thinking secondary school based just outside Bristol, who are looking for a skilled and motivated DT Technician to join our dynamic team., + Practical experience using and maintaining DT machinery
+ Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within a workshop environment
+ Experience working in challenging environments, preferably within secondary education
+ Excellent organisational and communication skills
