Full Job Description

At Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board, we are looking for a safeguarding professional to join the safeguarding team as Designated Nurse for Safeguarding -All Age Integrated. You will take a lead in driving the strategic safeguarding agenda to ensure the delivery of safe, effective safeguarding practice across the commissioning and provider landscape in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The post holder will provide assurance to Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) of the effectiveness of safeguarding activity., Reporting to the Associate Director for Safeguarding, the post holder will support the ICB in fulfilling statutory duties for the organisation for safeguarding adults and children, and provide robust visible professional leadership to the ICB, the health economy and the wider health and social care footprint in relation to safeguarding adults and children. We are looking for a candidate who can confidently provide expert professional advice in safeguarding. You will have strong clinical leadership skills with the ability to harness strong working relationships across the system.
