Designated Safeguarding Lead

Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School is a wonderful school in the heart of Sandwell which has been on a journey of rapid improvement.

In our most recent OFSTED report (April 2024) we achieved 'Good' (Grade 2) in all areas, including 6th Form.

This most recent achievement, along with our 'Outstanding' Section 48 report (April 2022) enables prospective candidates to develop themselves as teachers in a proud, successful and supportive school community.

We wish to appoint a Designated Safeguarding Lead here at Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School. The safeguarding and wellbeing of our students is paramount and we are looking for an individual to be tenacious in ensuring the safety and welfare of all of our students, working under the direction of the MAC's Secondary School Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing safeguarding within the school and be a point of contact / intervention for all students, parents / carers and external agencies. Completing accurate, detailed and timely records is essential.
