Designer

Working as part of the Commercial department, to design and specify bespoke planting schemes for state-of-the-art office spaces to win new business. To clearly understand a client's brief and bring that to reality, including variables like aesthetics, costs, and service levels, whilst balancing the horticultural requirements of plants with the desires of the client.

• Work closely with the Commercial Managers in producing designs and specifications that meet the clients' vision
• 100% accuracy of specifications and correct selection of plants that will be suitable for the environments using agreed portfolio
• Produce proposals that have best in class biophilic designs, which meets and exceeds clients' expectations
• Keep up to date with market trends and popular design themes and working closely with company buyer and internal Horticultural Specialist to achieve best production selection and lead times for clients

• CAD/Design skills
• Understanding of project management processes
• A willingness to learn all things horticultural (prior knowledge is a bonus but not essential)
• Experience working with client proposals and quotes
• Experience working directly with clients (e.g. customer service/ customer facing roles)
• Experience of working in/ with the fit-out industry is desirable
• MS Excel - excellent knowledge
• MS PowerPoint - excellent knowledge
• MS Outlook - very good knowledge
• MS Word - very good knowledge
• ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central) - good knowledge (training will be provided)
• CAD Drawing software or similar - good knowledge (training will be provided)
