Full Job Description

The Designer will assist the Senior Designer and work collaboratively with the wider Marketing team and other stakeholders to produce high quality digital and print design. The Designer is responsible for producing credible, effective and inspiring digital and print designs. The Designer is expected to apply their creative talent to contribute to and influence the brand's future direction whilst also ensuring brand integrity and consistency is maintained across all channels. The Designer will therefore provide advice and guidance about our brand to both internal and external stakeholders., Corporate Design guidelines: Work with the wider Marketing team to ensure ARAG Group Corporate Design / Brand Guidelines are followed consistently and accurately both internally and by external suppliers.

  • Design Content & Asset Management: Produce and implement original and high-quality brand visuals for a wide range of marketing content, including; digital advertising, website design, print collateral, emails, e-shots and social media. Maintain our digital assets in line with Group brand guidelines.
  • Artworking Produce or update a variety of documents, including policy wordings, brochures, flyers, posters and invitations. Often these are very technical documents with a high level of precision and meticulous attention to detail required.
  • Project Delivery: Work independently and with the Marketing team on various projects ensuring all design elements of our marketing campaigns and projects are delivered on time and within quality parameters. A high level of organisation and the ability to juggle competing priorities is required.
  • Customer service: Provide on-going support to internal or external customers on any queries, analysis or requests where creative expertise is needed. Take part in ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Learning & Development: Take responsibility for own learning needs & objectives. Work closely with colleagues to progress knowledge & skills base.

  • Confidence to take the lead on design projects and to propose new ideas and concepts
  • Evidence of applying strong core design skills to a diverse range of online and offline projects
  • Proven use and mastery of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • NOTE
  • Successful candidates are likely, but not required, to have circa 2 years' experience as a designer and one or more years' experience of web design and online marketing.
  • Technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML 5.
  • Degree in design or similar
  • Other related design or marketing qualifications
  • Sound knowledge of website structure, functionality and SEO.
  • Previous B2B experience
