Full Job Description
We are looking for a tenacious Desk Based Account Manager to join our team in our Head Office in Ammanford., The role of Desk Based Account Manager is a new position for LBS and is focused on proactive outgoing calls to customers new and existing.
- Desk Based Account Managers will be the route to identifying our customers needs with 'real time' feedback, to allow us to adapt quickly to meet customer and market challenges
- Supporting our branches and specialist divisions by contacting customers who are lapsed/dormant or new (without spend) to push the full LBS group offer.
- Analysing our internal and external ledger set ups and supporting internal and external colleagues
- Project Tracking What will I be doing?
- Driving new business initiatives to a wide range of customers across multiple brands
- Through consistent planning, make the most effective use of time as a resource to achieve objectives
- Developing lapsed/dormant/new relationships
- Ensure all customers are fully aware of the LBS group offer, selling our 'one-stop shop' to all customers
- Welcome calls to New Accounts to establish their needs and assessment of ongoing requirements
- Use of CRM system to maintain, qualify and re-qualify accurate records of existing customer contacts and data allowing to maximise opportunities
- Project Tracking - Using Barbour software to locate and identify potential projects/subcontractors for LBS Account Managers and branches.Data would need to be logged in a format that allows regular follow up through to quote/order success (previous experience of these Barbour/Glenigan would be helpful, but full training given).
Prior experience of making successful targeted outbound sales calls to warm and cold customers - Follow Up - An essential part of this process - ensuring that all leads/projects are logged and are followed through to completion with all internal stakeholders
