Full Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a hardworking, conscientious Despatch Operative to work within our fast-paced despatch team. A physically demanding role you will work as part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient despatch of products to our customer throughout the UK and Internationally.,

  • Work different roles across the despatch department, learning and enhancing your skills within the team.
  • Load goods onto company vehicles using the correct H&S procedures.
  • Handling goods from production ready for despatch, using the correct equipment in a safe and efficient way to minimise damage to goods.
  • Packing goods to specification, ensuring the safe transport of goods to our customers.
  • Liaising with the production team to certify the correct goods are being despatched.
  • Working together with colleagues to keep the despatch area tidy and organised.
  • Working proactively to maintain the safety and security of the despatch area.
  • Using handheld scanners to scan goods in and out to ensure the products are placed into the relevant areas.

    Able to work in a busy, pressured environment and to learn quickly.
  • Able to work as part of a team but to also work on own initiative when necessary.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work to standards.
  • Able to work to within tight deadlines and with minimal supervision.
