Position: Despatch Supervisor Contract Type: Permanent / full-time (40 hours per week) Location: Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry Shift: Nights (Sunday-Thursday / 21.30-06.00) Salary: £31,283.30 per annum Why choose DHL eCommerce UK? About the role: With a strong focus on providing high standards of service to both external and internal customers, responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Delivery of essential communications regarding team performance and review via PD board sessions and one to one discussion.
- Compliance with new employee inductions and training.
- Compliance with company SOMs and risk assessments.
- Working closely with the Compliance team to deliver the required standard of driver compliancy.
- The review, development and delivery of Despatcher training.
- Assignment of general daily duties to the Despatch team to ensure an on-time network to the customer. The ideal candidate will have:
- Transport Manager CPC qualification is preferred
- Experience and knowledge of Control Room procedures including drivers' hours legislation an advantage.
