Full Job Description
- Leading, execution, and delivery of web development projects from concept through to completion.
- Oversee a team of junior developers, providing guidance and mentorship to support their growth and ensure project success.
- Conduct delivery meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, timelines, and requirements.
- Ensure the development of robust, secure, scalable, and maintainable codebase using PHP, MySQL, jQuery, CSS, and other relevant technologies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of APIs, GIT, and deployment processes to streamline development and deployment workflows.
- Lead the integration and customization of CMS platforms, specifically WordPress and Shopify, to meet project requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the development team, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and project management.
A minimum of 7 years of commercial experience in web development, with a proven track record of leading development teams through the full project lifecycle. - Expertise in PHP, MySQL, jQuery, CSS, and a strong understanding of working with APIs.
- Extensive experience with GIT and modern deployment processes.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in working with WordPress and Shopify platforms, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of mentoring junior developers and engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A strong portfolio of successfully delivered web projects, showcasing your technical prowess and leadership capabilities.
