Full Job Description
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality cloud-based applications. You will be part of a high-performing cross-functional Agile team that fosters teamwork, collaboration and trust that works together to deliver robust and future-proof global solutions that align with business goals. Your role involves building end-to-end functionality or feature encompassing both backend and web components, and ensuring the functionality, security and performance of the applications.,
- Become an integral member of a high-performing Agile team, contributing to the shaping and development of Sage's future.
- Develop, deliver and implement integrated high quality technical solutions
- Write well-designed, efficient code using test driven development and other programming techniques in both backend and web framework.
- Maintain relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and changes where applicable.
- Run through all phases of the project lifecycle independently or part of a team in an Agile environment
- Continuously strive to make improvements to the existing applications and/or systems, services and processes.
- Seek out and act upon feedback.
- Assist in educating others within IT where required.
- Ensure all development is completed to the required quality standards and provide benefit to Sage and its customers
- Keep up to date with relevant technology areas
Ability to interpret and/or gather user requirements and translate these into technical specifications and/or code - Proficient with Java programming languages and frameworks
- Good knowledge on AWS tech stack or an equivalent cloud hosting provider (Azure, Oracle) would be of benefit
- Relevant experience in building web UI applications using React.js and Typescript programming language and its related architecture and framework
- Good understanding in business processes
- Trouble shooting and/or problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator and influencer with good relationship management skills
