Full Job Description

Our Development Manager role sits in the Innovation Team and, working alongside the Innovation Product Manager, is responsible for creating and delivering a wide range of materials and initiatives to boost income and enhance our profile through high quality content. By liaising with key stakeholders and understanding user needs through briefs, research and aligning with strategic marketing plans, you will ensure the continuous growth and effectiveness of our Income and Engagement department. The role uses data, insight and organisational objectives to produce new initiatives that engage supporters, fostering a culture of sustained financial support year on year. You'll work closely with our insight,digital and marketing teams to boost product uptake and engagement using innovation best practices and data. You'll effectively manage projects, ensuring timely and budget friendly delivery through testing and piloting, before making deployment recommendations based upon your learnings. How you'll help to create brighter futures

  • Conduct research to understand user needs and market trends based off a brief that has been provided
  • Develop and deliver effective and engaging products for supporters from testing to delivery
  • Collaborate with colleagues in various departments to enhance fundraising strategies
  • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of projects
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

    Experience in fundraising, product development or a similar field
  • Ability to manage projects from testing to deployment, ensuring they meet objectives and are delivered within timescales
  • Ability to create details reports and presentations to communication progress and results to stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to build relationships with stakeholders, supporters and other team members
  • Proficient in managing budgets and financial resources effectively
  • Good analytical skills with ability to assess the effectiveness of income generating activities
