Full Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Expert supporting the Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery team in laying the foundation towards a unified and competitive business in the regulated industry. Within the newly formed Sovereign Cloud Delivery organization, we are responsible for operating a multitude of SAP solutions according to local certification requirements. We established a small global team, which focuses on standardization and alignment between the various local teams, who will execute their day-to-day activities based on global guidance. The Role: You will be part of this Global team and assume responsibility for defining operating standards for applications within Sovereign Cloud boundaries like e.g. SAP Business Technology Platform. You will strongly cooperate with other teams in Development and Customer Success, as well as the National Security Services (NS2) organization. Starting with Standard Operating Procedures, you will be defining a global operations model with limited local deviations, only when the legislation requires them. You will spend significant time liaising between all involved stakeholders. The role includes the following tasks:
- Defining Standard Operating Procedures and rolling them out to all Sovereign Cloud target markets
- Liaise with the LoB Cloud Operations Teams to transfer their best practices into a Sovereign Cloud version
- Identify deviations to Global Standards due to local legislation and limit those as much as possible
- Continuously monitor process adherence
- Regular improvement of processes based on input from the local teams
- Provide input to the engineering organization within Sovereign Cloud with respect to requirements from Delivery point of view
- Participate in Customer meetings
You have strong analytical skills, are a team player, like proactive networking, have a results and execution focus. - You should enjoy being a part of an internationally diverse team, engaging seamlessly with remote teams and stakeholders across different locations.
- You bring a deep understanding of operations processes in the area of SAP BTP or similar applications
- You are Skilled in process optimization
- You have a high service and customer orientation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably in German
- Constructive and open style of communication
- Audience oriented presentation skills (e.g. system administrators, top management)
- Focus on quality
- Track record in customer meetings/communications
