DevSecOps Engineer

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient DevOps solutions. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the integration of security practices within the DevOps processes, contributing to the overall stability and security of our production systems. Responsibilities · Design and architect comprehensive DevSecOps solutions, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and maintainability. · Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker. · Develop and maintain automation scripts for building, deploying, and monitoring applications. · Integrate security practices and tools into the CI/CD pipelines, including vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and security testing. · Develop and implement automated security checks throughout the CI/CD pipeline. · Develop and implement incident response procedures for handling security breaches. · Analyze security logs and identify suspicious activity. · Monitor and manage cloud security configurations to maintain a secure environment. · Configure monitoring tools to track the health and security of DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure. · Ensure smooth interoperability between different components and troubleshoot technical issues. · Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand project requirements, identify challenges, and translate them into actionable technical solutions. · Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible. · Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring near 99% uptime of all production systems. · Develop and maintain documentation for DevSecOps processes and procedures. · Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve DevSecOps practices. · Analyze logs to identify potential issues and security events.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. · Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role · Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies. · Experience in implementing real-time data streaming solutions and integrating with third-party providers. · Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. · Proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, PHP, PoweShell, Bash, and similar · Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud-native services. · Strong understanding of network security principles and practices. · Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools. · Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. · Strong communication and collaboration skills. · Must be based in London and nearby areas.
