This role is for you!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Diabetes Dietitian to join SFH young adult diabetes service.
There is opportunity for Hybrid working, offering virtual appointments to accommodate flexibility for our service users, providing dietetic input in MDT young adult clinics and transitional clinics across both Kings Mill Hospital and Newark hospital and additional young adult dietetic clinics held at kings mill hospital and potential to develop this service over at Newark hospital.
There is the opportunity to develop and facilitate tailored structured education course for the young adult cohort with dietetic emphasis on carbohydrate counting and nutritional education to empower service users with their diabetes management. Knowledge of inuslin pump therapy is desired but not essential as training will be provided. There will be opportunity to develop the role further to support within the insulin pump therapy pathway. You would be working alongside a passionate and knowledgeable Diabetes specialist nurse, Psychologist and diabetes consultant within the young adult MDT.
