Full Job Description

We have an fantastic opportunity available ( secondment/ fixed term).

The role is to support and educate the ward staff on managing patients with diabetes, while providing expert advice and treatment plans for inpatients.

You should have evidence of your interest and knowledge in Diabetes.

Working Monday to Friday with some Saturdays shared between team members.

Main duties of the job

You will provide advice, support and information from the time of diagnosis and throughout curative, palliative and terminal phases.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team in hospital and the community to ensure a co-ordinated quality service and will be actively involved in education, audit and research.

The post holder will engage and lead discussions in multidisciplinary team meetings, people and vulnerable adults.
