Diabetes Specialist Nurse

Assess, plan and implement treatment plans for people with diabetes whilst an inpatient. Contribute to the organisation and delivery of specialist education and training to other health care professionals, carers on all aspects of diabetes management. To have the ability to work autonomously in the provision of a specialist, evidence based and high quality service for people with diabetes. and with the support of nursing and medical colleagues.
You will work closely with the Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialist's and other multidisciplinary team members, playing an important role in the delivery of effective care and management of inpatients with diabetes.

Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
