Full Job Description

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of Radiographers, nurses, cardiac physiologists, support staff, Cardiologists and Radiologists. The ideal candidate will be driven to support the delivery of high standards of care within the all imaging modalities of within our department.

This post consists of a variety of roles including radiographic support in interventional radiology, cardiology and fluoroscopy. The role requires the post holder to support in areas of plain imaging and assist the vascular access team.

You must be a registered HCPC Diagnostic Radiographer currently practicing within the NHS, we will be happy to support newly qualified staff commencing their career and will offer a full preceptorship programme.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a committed professional with strong interpersonal skills to further develop their experience within a specialised clinical area. The post holder will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure they can work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team, to ensure Radiology continues to provide a high quality service to all its users.

The Interventional team currently work core hours of Monday - Friday 8.45 -5pm, To provide diagnostic radiography support in the areas of Interventional Radiology, Fluoroscopy and the Cardiac Catheter Lab
