Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

An exciting new opportunity has come up here at our Newport dealership as we're on the lookout for a Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Diagnostic Technician you will diagnose complex systems across the whole range of vehicle systems, as well as routine service and repairs. We believe in developing YOU, providing a supportive and engaging place to work and offering training opportunities that keep you up to date with all the latest technologies to progress your career with us In this role you will also: · Ensure Quality and a first time fix to delight our customers every time. · Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues & sell-up opportunities. · Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress. · Develop your skills & knowledge via regular training including EV. · Assist and coach your colleagues with technical assistance. · Maintain a clean & safe work bay. · Complete MOTs in line with DVSA standards.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician with a knack for diagnostics, a passion for continuous learning, and a drive to work on Stellantis brand products as a key member of our successful aftersales team. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification, at a minimum.

• Base salary of up to £33,500.00
