Dietitian

The post holder will provide clinical dietetic support to inpatients and outpatients, including direct access GP referrals to dietitian led clinics. The post holder will play an active role in teaching other professionals, including students and patients, both as individuals and in groups. There will be liaison with MDTs and the development of appropriate education programmes to facilitate efficient use of healthcare personnel. The job will include speciality sessions to develop experience in a range of specialties. (e.g. oncology, specialist surgery, paediatrics and gastro). This aspect of the post will depend on caseload and time pressures of the post holder and specialty colleagues
