Full Job Description

  • You will take an active role in training dietetics students from London Metropolitan University as well as training non-dietetics staff. We are committed to work based education and training to improve clinical skills and we actively encourage CPD and audit.
  • You will also be working closely with multidisciplinary team and other AHPs such as Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
  • To ensure that research and audit is undertaken on a regular basis to ensure practice is evidence based.
  • This post will have a requirement to work on any adult ward and may be required to work across any of the sites within Barts Health on request.

    We are pleased to announce an opportunity has arise in Newham Hospital Barts Health NHS Trust as a Band 5 Dietitian to work in a 6-month rotational post between inpatient, outpatient and community settings. We are looking for a motivated and an enthusiastic dietitian to join our innovative dietetic team. You will have the opportunity to build on your training and gain experience across a number of clinical areas like Diabetes, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Stroke and Neurology and many more in a large multicultural population of Newham Borough of London.
