Job Title: Digital Analytics Specialist
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Edinburgh or Alderley Edge
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We are currently looking to appointment a Digital Analytics Specialist to be located in either Edinburgh or Alderley Edge office.
This is a newly created position, and the Digital Analytics Specialist will be responsible for analysing a wide array of digital data across various platforms to understand user behaviour, measure the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives, and identify opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and a profound understanding of digital analytics tools and methodologies such as Google Suite.
Although digital analytics is the main focus, there are non-digital analytics that will need to be taken into consideration as part of the overall analytics strategy. Working closely with the marketing teams, the post holder will offer feedback to team members, stakeholders, and external agencies, ensuring high quality and consistent approach to digital analytics work.
About the role
-Provide analysis and insight into how customers use Royal London's digital and online service platforms and tools to prioritise and drive optimisation to ensure that Royal London's solutions meet expected standards for user experience, helping to ensure that Royal London is the most recommended provider.
-Collaborate with analysts from around Royal London, digital team members, Group Brand, digital marketing teams and other stakeholders to develop a measurement framework and process to measure the effectiveness of Marketing, Sales, and Brand activities.
-Perform analysis of the end-to-end customer journeys, attributing marketing efforts to user outcomes, providing actionable insight that helps drives change within the business.
-Provide actionable insight to stakeholders that support and promote the use of targeted and personalised communications and user experiences.
About you
-High level of experience in digital analytics.
-Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and relaying it to stakeholders with excellent storytelling.
-Strong knowledge of digital marketing technologies, including, tag management, AB testing and marketing automation preferred.
-Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (Preferable Google Analytics Certification).
-Working knowledge of web development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
