Full Job Description

As a Digital Application Specialist, you will be part of our digital team that develops, implements, and supports software applications for our safety products and services. You will work closely with project managers, IT engineers, Digital team members and clients to understand their requirements, design solutions, and ensure smooth delivery and operation. You will also provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users and internal staff.,

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and deployment.
  • Configure, install, and maintain software applications on various platforms and devices alongside product owners.
  • Monitor and optimise the performance across systems, availability, and security of the applications in line with our adjacent infrastructure team.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to clients and internal teams on the use and functionality of the applications.
  • Document and update the application specifications, manuals, SOP's, and procedures.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve the application development and delivery process.
  • Development opportunities

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing and supporting software applications.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team cross sites.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Nice to have but not essential:
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or PHP
  • Familiar with web development frameworks and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .net
