Full Job Description
The Digital Clinical Facilitators will work as part of a dynamic Chief Clinical Information Officer team. The postholder will have an understanding of digital systems and will support the digital team with efficient and effective management of the on-going EPR development, education, implementation and training of our digital clinical systems . The role is responsible for facilitating digital transformation for new digital solutions and upgrades to existing digital solutions across UHN with clear collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as required., Northampton General Hospital is one of the largest employers in the area and we are on an exciting journey. The postholder will support the Digital team by contributing to improving standards of care through the effective use of digital solutions
The Digital Clinical Facilitators will work with multi-professional teams to facilitate improving patient care by participating in audits, research and benefits realisation data collection, analysis and subsequent improvements to our processes.
The postholder will participate in engagement with end users to ensure clear documentation of current state processes and subsequent future state processes and support in clinical hazard workshops as required. They will work with members of the multidisciplinary team within the hospitals and at community venues, including all clinical colleagues, operational colleagues, administrative personnel and all teams within Digital and the EPR Programmes across UHN.
The post holder will work collaboratively with our digital teams and clinical teams by acting as a representative of their clinical profession to ensure we are using technology effectively and efficiently to improve the quality of care and patient safety.
At Northampton General Hospital we provide general acute services and hyper-acute stroke, vascular and renal services to people living in Northamptonshire. As well as this we are an accredited cancer centre and provide cancer services to a wider population of Northamptonshire and parts of Buckinghamshire.
