Full Job Description

As an experienced Digital Content Delivery Marketer you'll be joining our client's marketing team, reporting into the Head of Digital Content and responsible for your own workstack, ensuring the successful delivery of a critical product/ proposition area on time and to budget and working closely with key stakeholders. You'll be working directly with our client team as part of their digital content team and they will manage your workload. What you will be doing:

  • As Content lead for your business area, you will be responsible for managing your workload against available resource.
  • Responsible for planning and prioritising work based on its value to the business.
  • Producing best in class responses to business and marketing briefs, applying the brand's content strategy principles and content marketing best practice.
  • Coordinating the resource required through our existing forums and processes.
  • Project managing the response from brief through to delivery.
  • Collaborating with other members of the team to ensure the content is on brief, on brand and rich in terms of text and visual representation.
  • Using the Content Management System and SEO to analyse the web traffic and increase visibility.
  • Managing your own time to ensure you meet deadlines with the right deliverables.
  • Adhering to accessibility guidelines for all content changes including imagery and PDFs
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues

    Hands on Content Management experiences, preferably using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including experience of managing large content delivery projects across multiple platforms, both secure and public.
  • SEO experience
  • Excellent communication / writing / editing skills and an understanding of website best practice, information architecture, accessibility etc.
  • The ability to quickly understand and apply the brand personality and visual and written tone of voice effectively and consistently across their projects
  • The ability to interrogate a brief to add value and establish full clarity
  • Experience of and enthusiasm for content marketing - experience of Financial Services would be great too, but not essential
  • Efficient time management skills - you'll be working across multiple projects at any given time, so you'll have strong juggling and prioritisation skills - although there will always be someone on hand to help and support you
  • A collaborative self-starting attitude - you'll need to get projects moving and see them through and get stuck in from Day 1
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Strong and positive energy; someone who will work collaboratively with everyone who'll support them in delivering projects
  • You're a highly collaborative self-starter with great communication skills who works well within a team and with the right experience (ideally in Financial Services (although telecoms or utilities experience would also be great) to hit the ground running.
