Full Job Description
We're looking for a passionate, professional copywriter to join a team of designers, SEO experts and fellow writers to help create and maintain longform articles for a series of content hubs. The topic of the articles will vary, but will centre around advice, guides and reviews about all things broadband, communication and tech., The successful candidate will work closely with the in-house SEO team to ensure all copy is optimised to perform well in search, but is still written in a human way aligning with our tone of voice principles. An understanding of SEO principles is preferred and being able to translate optimised titling and keyword suggestions into a coherent whole is hugely important to us
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- A skilled copywriter with proven experience and a strong portfolio, you write compelling copy displaying attention to detail and flawless English. You excel at adapting to specific tones of voice and house styles, ensuring consistency.
- A natural collaborator, you build positive relationships, effectively handle stakeholder expectations and align with their goals. With excellent social skills, you are empathetic, persuasive, and an encouraging teammate.
- Highly organized, you run priorities and deadlines with ease, interpreting briefs and collaborating with UX/UI designers to create seamless user journeys.
- Proficient in SEO and user testing, you apply insights to create solutions that are user-friendly and aligned with business goals.
- You deliver cohesive, user-focused content strategies that balance creativity with business objectives, ensuring impactful and consistent storytelling. The other stuff we are looking for We'd also love you to bring;
- A degree in a writing-related subject area
- Strong customer focus, both internal and external
- Ability to work on projects with cross-functional and virtual teams
- Understanding of following website governance processes, including responsibility for legal compliance and adherence to accessibility standards
- Knowledge of the telecoms and/or entertainment industry
