About the role The Digital Designer delivers top-notch marketing and commercial content across Immediate's digital platforms, including partnership campaigns, bespoke ads, and brand marketing. Collaborating with the Lead Digital Designer, they drive innovation and improvement in digital design. They focus on digital-first (and mobile-first) ideation, shaping the team's digital output and pushing creative boundaries. The role demands creative flair, an analytical approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring great UX and effective marketing ads. Supporting the Lead Digital Designer, they develop digital marketing materials for subscription campaigns and new product launches, and create bespoke digital ads for commercial clients. Experience with developers or digital ad software like Celtra or Smartly is a plus., The ideal candidate is full of new ideas, keen on the content marketplace, and passionate about digital design. Proficiency in Figma, including using components, auto-layouts, and plugins, is essential. They should also be able to quickly conceptualize and mock-up digital ad formats, working closely with developers and ad delivery teams. As a Senior Designer you will

  • Drive digital awareness and ambition across the Imagine team.]
  • Support the production of digital marketing creative across all Immediate's editorial brands.
  • Ensure all design work fits within brand guidelines, including external and internal clients.
  • Create ideas for digital executions which demonstrate not only innovation but an understanding of our brands' values.
  • Bring creative ideas to life, working in collaboration with studio managers, copywriters and production.
  • Constantly seek out and dream up new, exciting ideas for digital executions that win over internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with various teams including subscriptions, sales, editorial, publishing, digital publishers, marketing, comms, events.
  • Stay at the forefront of digital design software developments, seeking out new tools to better help us deliver best-in-class design work.
  • Constantly critique and develop yours and others work across digital marketing creative, enhancing each project with data and design-led insight.

    Ability to develop innovative, on-brand digital treatments and bring concepts to life, with a continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry developments.
  • Extensive experience in all areas of digital display marketing and commercial design, with a strong understanding of client and needs and objectives.
  • Proficient in Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator (After Effects and InDesign a bonus), with the ability to produce stunning visuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of presenting ideas confidently both internally and externally
  • Proven ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships, value input and feedback, and demonstrate a willingness to learn from others.
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with other creative departments, sales teams, and project and studio managers, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ability to interpret briefs with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, delivering polished visuals that exceed expectations.
