The Marketing Partnerships department is responsible for commercial brand partnerships across the Live Nation family. Our digital programmes, capabilities and expert execution are a renowned and vital element that make Live Nation a leader in our industry and in the wider sponsorship landscape. The position of Digital Director is an integral leadership position within this successful and high performing team.

The role is responsible for strategising and overseeing entire lifecycle of digital programmes - from coming up with brilliant ideas in response to client briefs, to successful management of the delivery of campaigns. The role requires a detailed knowledge of digital marketing (owned and bought media) as well as social-led content. Proven experience of seamlessly delivering complex multi-channel campaigns with internal and external stakeholders, working with commercial brands., Create high quality digital concepts and programmes to pitch into new and existing brand partners:

  • Work with clients to truly understand business requirements, objectives and what the partner is trying to achieve

  • Develop engaging digital solutions to create inspiring programmes that deliver against key metrics.

  • Expert knowledge of Live Nation's digital capabilities and use products to maximum effect

  • Collaborate with internal teams on proposals to ensure that the overall client objective is correctly addressed

  • Present proposals that are bought by clients, and deliverable by the team


  • Oversee execution of digital programmes and contractual marketing rights that have been sold into brand partners:
  • Ensure successful delivery of digital programme, including planning, execution, optimisation and reporting.

  • Work with multiple stakeholder groups to ensure their part in delivery of each programme.

  • Proactively resolve any challenges with delivery and ensure that delivery is always to agreed deadlines and stays within the allocated budget

  • Approve and challenge partners on-site content capture plans to ensure concepts and delivery is festival approved, and delivering partner objectives

  • Ensure management of direct reports delivering, consulting on optimisations of digital programmes to effectively achieve partnership objectives

  • Assist clients in achieving ROI goals to ensure maximum renewal opportunities, challenging where feels right


  • Manage direct reports and third-party agencies:
  • Be a great mentor and leader to digital team direct reports, and third-party agencies

  • Oversee external and internal teams/ agencies to manage the creative direction and production of content for digital programmes. Focus on talent-led content for brand partnerships

  • Developing clear briefs, ensuring timelines are always hit and each project is appropriately budgeted


  • Provide high quality digital team assets:
  • Develop visually engaging case study assets to showcase digital delivering objectives

  • Develop digital sales material to aid Sales team and Marketing Solutions in pitches

  • Contribute to the Digital Toolkit

  • Worked in digital within a commercial setting (preferably sponsorship experience)

  • Have solid experience of digital media, content and reporting

  • Excellent understanding of targeting consumer groups across owned and bought media

  • Experienced in understanding media planning, and working with delivery agencies

  • Developed engaging proposals to client briefs

  • Are app savvy with an appreciation of the customer journey
