The project :

Supports clients and project teams with developing and maintaining information requirements and standards, developing and managing of processes within a common data environment and leading the delivery of the information management function for project team.

Advises, innovates, develops and implement processes described within ISO19650 series. This includes how the information is produced and assured for digital delivery.

You'll be responsible for :

Supports the delivery team / s throughout the project lifecycle.

Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Delegates tasks to others in a way that ensures they are completed effectively.

Develops BIM execution plan (BEP).

Develops and maintains an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients.

Ensures security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing of information on all projects.

Implements governance and assurance processes.

Monitors digital handover to completion.

Participates in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.

Produces information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650.

Produces information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.

Reads, understands, and supports the delivery of all Mace process and procedures guides.

Responsible for object library development in alignment with wider BIM strategy.

Responsible for the assurance and checking of the information model.

Responsible for the production of the information model. (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only)

Reviews current technology solutions and research new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies.

Stays up to date on the latest developments of applicable classifications.

Supports construction sequencing strategy using information models.

Supports Mace cost team in preparation of cost plans from information models.

Provides training on using databases, analysing data, creating templates, conducting assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics.

Understands and performs in line with information management assignment matrix (from Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2).

Understand the setup of processes and tools for CDEs.

Upskills the client team, Mace project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.

Collaborates with the Mace PM and design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace way.

Experience with content management library systems, Autodesk desktop products, validation and verification tools, visualisation tools & databases.

Intermediate understanding of ISO19650, BS1192, Common Data Environment (CDE), IFC, COBie, and classification.

Personal effectiveness, plans and organises, collaborates and networks, solves problems, adapts and responds to change, delivers results, and exceeds clients' expectation.

You'll also have :

Level 6 qualifications (or equivalent) degree apprenticeship, degree with honours.

Level 7 qualifications (or equivalent) integrated master's degree.

Leads and supervises, persuades, and influences, creates, and innovates, presents and communicates.
