Bensons for Beds is looking for a new Graphic Designer to join our team based in Accrington. The Graphic Designer role is a challenging, varied position within the Graphic Design Team. As part of the wider Studio team, you will play an integral role with the delivery of brand messages, through a range of media and channels, for the companies within the group., Reporting into the Graphic Design Manager on a day-to-day basis as part of the wider Studio Team.The Studio Team is part of the wider Marketing team which ultimately reports into the Head of Marketing. So what will you do?

  • At all times ensure that the brand guidelines are adhered to so that any work produced is consistent and truly reflects the brand look and feel.
  • To artwork any customer facing material required across the business, according to given design and asset templates
  • Work closely within Graphics team and with the wider Studio team to ensure assets created use up-to-date designs, imagery and copy
  • Work to briefs from wider teams, ensuring creative production deadlines are met for campaign activity
  • Outline and achieve a set of business and personal development objectives, in line with overall business KPIs, working closely with the Senior Designer and the Studio Manager
  • Optimise imagery and assets for web, working closely with the E-Commerce and Image teams
  • Produce banners for the group's websites and social media channels
  • On occasion you will be expected to liaise with external creative resources required to complete projects.
  • As part of the Marketing team you will play a key role in the development and long-term strategy of the group's brands

    With an eye for detail, you will be able to add real value to the design process and be highly productive. The role requires a 'can do' attitude and flexible approach as you will be required to work on a diverse range of online projects including email campaigns, display advertising, website content and landing pages., With an eye for detail, you will be able to add real value to the design process and be highly productive. You will also need:
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in digital graphic design
  • Excellent understanding of digital graphic design
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Goal oriented and performance driven
  • The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with the Adobe Creative Suite. Experience working with assets for print is highly desirable, and a basic understanding of HTML and CSS would be preferred. Working closely with the E-Commerce teams, and with wider web conversion, marketing, and merchandising teams, you will ensure brand look and feel is translated effectively to the digital environment. Good communication skills are essential as is a flexible working approach. A positive attitude and pride in your work, showing attention to detail and quality control are essential.
