If you're passionate about digital analytics, data-driven strategies, and effective eCommerce performance, we want to hear from you!, Role Overview: The Digital Insights Manager is responsible for driving digital analytics across our ecosystem, with a primary focus on paid media. This role will oversee performance tracking, budget optimization, and reporting for both our retail and veterinary digital spaces. The successful candidate will also lead ad hoc analytics for new functionalities, business case assessments, and on-site performance insights. You will manage one team member and work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a data-driven culture within our eCommerce department., Paid media effectiveness and budget optimization:

  • Report on channel performance and return on investment.
  • Make recommendations to improve budget efficiency.
  • Supports test and learn roadmap with relevant analytics and insights.
  • Ownership over the 3rd party marketing tagging and tracking.
  • Onsite analytics and insights
  • Deep dive in onsite performance.
  • Provide insights on funnel flow through.
  • Work with Digital Product to analyse the success of new features.
  • Reporting and dashboarding
  • Accountable for weekly and periodic reporting for ecommerce department, focusing primarily on paid media, visits, and search trends.
  • Work closely with ecommerce teams (e.g. Digital optimization executives), to increase analytical skillset and promote a data driven approach to optimization through self-serve dashboarding.
  • Brief reporting requirement into data visualization to ensure dashboarding meets business requirements.
  • Business cases
  • Own the business cases analysis looking across various metrics, such as media effectiveness, onsite performance, and other income/expenses.
  • Ways of working
  • Take the lead on all thing's analytics and insights within the ecommerce team.
  • Be a self-starter, working cross functionally to help improve data driven decision making.
  • Manage one colleague, managing their workload and developing their analytics and insights skillset.
  • As manager within the wider ecommerce team, help drive the team objectives forward.

    5 years+ experience in Digital Analytics, eCommerce or Digital Marketing.
  • Experience working in medium/large online business required but experience in pet supplies is not required.
  • Skilled using key Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and insights tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI.
  • A dynamic person, who finds solutions and can drive key initiatives forward in a matrix style organisation.
  • Experience partnering with key stakeholders and holding good relationships.
  • A team player that seeks new opportunities and questions the status quo.

  • This is a hybrid role, 2 days a week in our Handforth, Cheshire office
