Full Job Description
As the Digital Lead, you will be responsible for one of top clients priority business units, driving the digital media strategy and acting as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders. You will lead client conversations, deliver briefs, and address media challenges with smart, multi-channel strategies across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic to achieve KPIs. You will work closely with channel specialists to deliver market-leading media plans, ensuring that the strategic vision is executed tactically within each channel. By aligning efforts with teh clients business objectives and fostering strong stakeholder relationships, you'll deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that ensure measurable success. Responsibilities ·Act as the senior point of contact across performance media and take lead on main client relationship. Foster strong relationships with key client stakeholders. ·Own and manage central and local budget for all paid media channels across all lines of business. ·Direct and oversee channel team output, both client-facing and operational, ensuring adherence to controls and best practices in paid media campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social & Programmatic. ·Collaborate with channel specialists to develop innovative and forward-thinking paid media strategies aligned with the clients' objectives and KPIs. ·Ensure accuracy and quality on an operational level across campaign activation, performance optimisation & reporting. ·Identify testing and innovation opportunities in the paid space and turn them into actionable initiatives. Coach channel team to drive innovation, testing and performance improvement. ·Lead cross channel response to briefs and QBRs as required across all lines of business. ·Advise internal and external stakeholders on industry trends and developments that impact client businesses.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in a performance marketing role, ideally as a senior digital planning director or digital lead. The role will also suit an experienced paid media channel specialist at a senior director level, with experience in a cross-channel role e.g. biddable lead or performance media lead. Experience across one or more paid media channels would be advantageous, but this is not a primarily hands-on role. This role will require experience in handling communication and workstreams across multiple client stakeholders & internal teams, so you must be an exceptional communicator and enjoy collaborating and building work relationships.,
- Prior extensive experience in a digital focused planning role, with proven experience in project management and strong digital performance knowledge across Paid Search, Programmatic & Paid Social.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to engage with multiple client contacts & internal team members.
- Well versed in receiving and responding to client briefs with clear KPIs and digital media strategies
- Ability to build relationships with 3rd parties and working collaboratively with all stakeholders.
- Operational experience working on large complex accounts with numerous products, stakeholders, goals and priorities.
- A critical thinker in your day-to-day and able to operate independently to solve challenges and navigate novel situations. Be solution driven, innovative and proactive with how you manage planning & operational processes.
- Be strategic and commercially minded in planning goals for your teams, as well as being able to shape and develop paid media strategy with client's business goals in mind. Will Ideally Have:
- Experience delivering SA360, TikTok Meta and DV360 media plans and broader strategy
- Exceptional knowledge of digital paid media landscape and digital media trends
- Understanding of MMM, attribution and other marketing measurement initiatives
- Experience on a large telco and/or entertainment client
