What You'll Do as a Digital Learning Designer In your role, you'll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here's a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Design and Development: Develop engaging learning activities and experiences that enhance knowledge retention, skill development, and performance improvement, while maintaining an enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying updated on instructional design trends and technologies
  • Stakeholder Management: collaborate with project stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle to align priorities, leveraging data and analytics to measure and optimize learning outcomes, and identify performance gaps and learning needs
  • Technology Utilisation: Utilize a variety of multimedia and e-learning tools, such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate, to create digital learning content with integrated graphics, audio, and video. Develop mobile-first learning interventions, apply comprehensive videography skills, and ensure seamless integration, scheduling, and tracking of digital learning solutions on the organization's LMS
  • Measurement and Evaluation: Develop and apply metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning programs, using data-driven insights to recommend enhancements and ensure continuous improvement
  • Collaboration and communication: Collaborate with the Talent Development Team and business stakeholders to align digital learning solutions with organizational standards and best practices, demonstrate commercial impact by linking business insights to learning interventions, and be recognized as a innovator and expert in instructional design

    Design and Theory Expertise: 5+ years' experience in delivering instructional and digital learning design for curriculums and individual interventions, ideally with experience in a retail environment.
  • Consultative and Relationship Skills: Effective consultative skills, including influencing and negotiation, and the ability to build solid, credible relationships quickly.
  • Resilience and Problem-Solving: Ability to bounce back from setbacks quickly, proactive problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.
  • Communication and Storytelling: Enhanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex subjects and tell compelling stories.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills, collaboration skills, and proficiency in building SCORM, video, and animation, with an understanding of Web 3 design principles and AI.
