Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to enhance learning across our College Group through the use of digital technology. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with managers, academic staff, and other stakeholders to provide expert advice, organise technical and teaching facilitation, and deliver operational support. This role is pivotal in advancing the use of immersive environments and virtual reality within the College, ensuring that our digital learning technologies contribute to an exceptional student experience.,

  • Lead cross-college digital projects, effectively managing resources and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Provide external training for other educational institutions and training providers.
  • Represent the College as a speaker at digitally-focused conferences.
  • Collaborate with academic staff to develop high-quality digital resources.
  • Organise and deliver digital upskilling programmes for College staff.
  • Demonstrate immersive learning technologies to prospective clients.
  • Manage and support Digital Learning Technologists, ensuring team success.
  • Lead day-to-day operations of immersive learning environments across campuses.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting, ensuring minimal disruption to teaching.
  • Foster creativity and innovation in the use of digital technologies to enhance learning.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Team to develop targeted training initiatives.

    Proven ability to work at degree level, preferably in IT or digital skills.
  • IT qualifications.
  • Degree-level education or above.
  • The right candidate will have:
  • Experience in learning technology and enhancing teaching through digital tools.
  • Strong general digital skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience writing training materials and delivering training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational capabilities.
