Full Job Description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Digital Marketing & Communications Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week. Purpose of the role:

  • To develop and deliver communication plan for local engagement with client, NHS staff and visitors.
  • Build relationship and manage updates to the Addenbrookes communications team.
  • To support the marketing and promotion of the on-site retail facilities for both NHS staff and visitors.
  • Collaborate with Catering & Retail teams onsite to audit and maintain high quality brand presentation.
  • To support the on-site team with customer engagement activity, events and communications.
  • Provide high quality service to customers and clients in line with our contractual and reputational objectives.
  • Monitor and support customer feedback activity for all retail outlets onsite via online feedback system., Management of the marketing activity plan including weekly updates, uploads and topical news activity
  • Working with central marketing team to plan digital screen content across outlets
  • Building positive relationship with onsite Trust communications team driving engagement
  • Using central brand operational tools to check onsite brand execution is correct
  • To prepare and provide relevant collateral to Addenbrookes communications team for posting on NHS comms channels
  • To support the team with regular checks of point of sale, ensuring it is up to date and well presented
  • To support the implementation of marketing, concepts and event activity across the retail at Addenbrookes
  • Support the development of relevant marketing material to deliver site requirements
  • Support of customer experience campaigns and activity, review of feedback channels providing updates to senior team
  • Contribute to improvement ideas and plans that are innovative and practical
  • Act as a Compass advocate, maintaining a positive professional can do manner at all times
  • Drive usage and engagement of the customer feedback channels
  • To ensure tasks are completed promptly and work is carried out quickly and efficiently with all deadlines being met
  • Ensure the highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times to provide a consistently great customer experience
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients & customers, being polite and courteous at all times
  • To support the delivery of any sales promotions, and identify opportunities for sales growth feeding back to retail team
  • Take personal ownership to act as an advocate for health and safety, with excellent personal behaviours
  • Correctly use work equipment, personal protective equipment in line with training and instructions provided.

    Has a proven track record to deliver consistent excellent administration standards
  • Has experience or strong interest in social media management
  • Comfortable content writer
  • Creative flair to support pop-up events
  • Strong level of computer and IT competency
  • Experienced in using Canva to design basic marketing materials such as posters
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities with a hands-on approach, always meeting deadlines
  • Is positive, passionate and enthusiastic and is able to support the delivery of change at pace
  • Has the ability to deliver above and beyond the expectations of our customers and clients and build strong relationships
  • Pro-active team player with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
  • Be able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulations laid down in the staff handbook and unit policy statements, with regard to uniform, personal hygiene, health and safety.
