Full Job Description

We need someone to take charge of our Digital Marketing Strategy. We don't need you to be an expert, but we do want you to want to be an expert!

The position has become available because our current Digital Marketeer is hopping off to pastures new. You will be picking up where the last person left off, and we are in pretty good shape. So, the starting point will be maintaining what we currently have, moving to enhancing what we already have, before replacing what we already have.

However, with Microsoft being Microsoft, things can change fairly often. You will need to keep up to date on how their marketing strategy may have changed and ensure that we are up to date in terms of keywords, imagery and content.

Our world is continually changing, and we have plans for new websites and social media campaigns. We need to pass this over to someone, and that person is you! We are not looking for a coding expert, we have lots of people that understand code. We need someone that can wrap it altogether with nice images and text. However, along your journey you will no doubt become a proficient html coder.

So, what do we mean by Digital Marketing? You will be…

…creating the content for the website (pictures and written content). We use Umbraco at present for one site and Visual Studio for the other,
…creating email marketing campaigns,
…designing and setting out other marketing materials (videos, letters, brochures, adverts),
…continually enhancing our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to increase the number of visitors to the website,
…managing our Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns using Google AdWords,
…monitoring use of our websites with Goggle Analytics,
…organise our staff social events (great for grabbing a few pictures for content).

Anything else? Yes…

Each year we take a stand at a 3 day European conference to promote our Astral 365 products. This year it is in Vienna and there are 6 of us attending. The biggest task on our marketing agenda is to start building relationships with other resellers and this conference is the best place to start those conversations. We will need you to plan and organise our attendance, design the display with the event organiser, be present on the stand, and follow up with visitors to try to form partnerships.

We have a marketing assistant who is self-sufficient in looking after social media ("X", LinkedIn, Instagram and FB)…blogging, vlogging, tweeting and retweeting. They will need mentoring and to be given more responsibilities, so they can learn and grow., …take care of the Christmas Party. Yep, someone's got to do it, so why not the most organised person in the company,
…cover the phones when we are in our morning Operations meeting,
…find a plumber - well maybe. It's an example. When we are all busy trying to get stuff finished someone that can take jobs away from us is great.

…be degree/diploma educated,
…have excellent interpersonal skills,
…have a polite telephone manner - the role doesn't involve much telephoning, but we want someone who can pick the sales phone up and take messages when the Directors and Sales Team are not available,
…have a "Can Do" attitude - someone not afraid to say "I have no idea, but I will find out",
…be incredibly organised - because we aren't!
…work on their own initiative - lots of people say it, but we mean it. Marketing isn't our bag. We need you to tell us what you think might be a good idea, or possibly just go ahead and do it and then tell us how great it was,
…understand HTML, CSS and JavaScript., …if you can somehow put across in your covering letter what a keen eye for website design you have then that's great,
…not sure how you can, but somehow prove that you have the ability to take an image and make it look good on a website,
…if you have previous experience of being a Digital Marketer that's obviously a benefit.
…just put across a passion for what you do,
…a grammatically correct CV is a must - there is a time and a place for smiley faces, slang and abbreviations, and this isn't one of them;)

Attention to Detail is one of the most important aspects of the position. Don't let your CV and Covering Letter let you down.

Tres Tria Limited was formed in 2004 and we sell, implement and support business systems throughout the UK. In particular, the software that we sell is "Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central" and "Microsoft Dynamics 365". We also sell Independent Software Vendor (ISV) solutions, including our own under the "Astral 365" brand as part of our portfolio of products. These are "add-ons" that enhance the core Business Central solution. We are basically a small busy team of software experts. Our office is based on the Medway City Estate in Rochester, Kent.

The salary will range from £28k to £34k per year, dependent on experience. You will get 25 days holiday per year.

Office Hours?

That would be 09:00 to 17:30. Monday to Friday. It is a hybrid role, so you will be able to work from home, but if you are needed in the office, or we are having an office day (usually a Tuesday or a Wednesday) then you will be expected to attend.
