15-90 hours This position can be fully flexible. We imagine 16 hours a week would be suitable. You could do a one off strategy or long term if you like us.

You will be responsible for creating a marketing plan that puts FarmEco on a sustainable financial footing by increasing numbers of volunteers as well as the income from groups paying for access to the FarmEco site.

What will you be doing?

The post-holder will work closely with the management team to position and promote the FarmEco brand, increase visitor numbers, support volunteer acquisition and retention, increase initiatives and network activities. We imagine this role taking about 2 days a week. It can be done remotely, but we would love you to visit the farm so that you can see first hand what we do.

Create, agree and implement a marketing plan that aligns with FarmEco's goals and purpose, ie:

  • Plan and manage our digital marketing initiatives which at the moment are focused on social media activities.

  • Working with the management team and commercial partners to compose, deliver and publish engaging content through various channels.

  • Measure and then increase engagement rates.

  • Manage our website development.

  • Generate sales for FarmEco activities.

  • Assist with our grant applications

    Marketing strategy

  • Social media marketing

  • Database / CRM development

  • SEO and analytics

  • Web design (including UX/UI)

  • Service design, a track record for creating and delivering growth marketing strategies

  • experience of managing a digital marketing program

  • knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing

  • the ability to write, edit and proofread engaging and accurate copy for different audiences

  • good interpersonal skills and the ability to recognize and adapt to different personal motivations

  • an interest in being part of a social enterprise

  • being fully conversant with word, excel, powerpoint, outlook and teams

    More people will visit and benefit physically and mentally from time spent in the beautiful countryside

  • More fruit and nuts will be harvested and increase healthy, organic local food production

  • The land will continue to be protected and allow wildlife and nature to flourish

  • More people will have a better understanding of how food can be farmed in a regenerative way

  • FarmEco will become a self sustaining, well run organisation
