Full Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Digital Media Support Officer, a new role within the Corporate Communications team.

Corporate Communications is a small but dynamic team, responsible for all aspects of external and internal communications, including social media and the force website.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy team, developing Cleveland Police's use of social media and supporting the use of other forms of digital media. You will work alongside the Head of Corporate Communications and Deputy Head of Corporate Communications to develop social media strategies and set goals to increase engagement.

You will be responsible for planning and scheduling content for the corporate social media channels and will work closely with the Creative Content Producers to help generate digital content, assisting with filming and production as required.

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of social media channels and be able to make informed decisions about the appropriateness of different channels based on audience and requirements.
