Full Job Description

The Digital Product Manager will be work closely with Marketing and Production to understand, plan, create and help release our games, DLC and other digital content in line with Marketing and Production roadmaps and release plans.

In addition, the Digital Product Manager will also work alongside our publishing partners to act as a conduit between the studio and our publishing partners marketing teams to help deliver against all required content within the product marketing plans.

A typical day will look like:

  • Help develop and execute product marketing strategies across all relevant Supermassive titles, digital content and media strategies across various consumer channels, including paid search and social media

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and insights that inform the product and marketing decisions and present findings to management and other team members as necessary

  • Prepare our games for successful commercial launch

  • Help define, plan, and create marketing assets for externally released game content working across different development and publishing disciplines

  • Develop and create plans for a product release schedule across multiple products (including DLC and updates) across associated digital storefronts, working alongside Release Management, Marketing and Development

  • Be a point of contact for all digital storefront setup and management processes and the go to person on all publishing matters relating to the digital storefronts - develop at a granular level an in-depth working knowledge of all required digital platforms but specifically for Steam, PS and XB

  • Create meaningful analysis for each managed title on consumer behaviour, target audience, competitive benchmarking, game performance etc (all analysis which allows us as a business to make informed decisions against product creation, product marketing advertising etc)

  • Potential for business travel representing Supermassive Games at trade and consumer events

    Demonstrable experience in product launches and product marketing within computer games or a related industry

  • Possess a good working knowledge of product management, digital advertising, paid media, and social media strategies internationally

  • Have managed an end-to-end process of creating and executing against product marketing plans from product concept to launch and beyond

  • A good understanding of digital / retail stores, pricing strategies and promotional mechanics across mainstream computer game sales channels

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across variety of teams, disciplines and seniorities

  • Experience in managing multiple projects at once

  • Skilled in developing strong working relationships both internally and externally

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and across multiple geographies and time zones

  • High level of proficiency in MS Office Product

  • Experience in Adobe Creative products preferable
