Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Band 8a Project Manager to join the Digital team within the Digital, Data and Technology Directorate at West Yorkshire Integrated Care.

This post plays a key role in supporting the Digital team in ensuring that all aspects of its work portfolio are delivered to the highest quality. The postholder will be used to working at pace, within in a complex environment with a focus on delivering outputs at an excellent standard. The role will require the postholder to work proactively and independently representing the team alongside a range of stakeholders. This role will work alongside and support members of the team to deliver its objectives, coordinating activity across various strategic projects. This will include supporting the full lifecycle of projects, working to foresee challenges, reporting on progress and supporting the management of risks and issues and escalating, as appropriate, to the Programme Manager., Project Management for identified workstreams.

Ensure workstream project documentation, including project charters, project plans and risk registers, are maintained and kept up to date during the project life cycle.

Work with programme leads and to identify risks and mitigating actions for identified projects.

Ensure the correct governance processes are in place.

Monthly reporting on project progress to the relevant governance forums and to programme leads.

Support delivery of projects as required.

Facilitating accurate and open communication with and co-ordination of workstream internal and external stakeholders

Ensuring timely release of any project funding.

Running meetings, taking minutes, managing follow-up, and preparing reports

Provide project management advice and guidance to wider team members
